by James Matthew Barrie (creator of Peter Pan) To me this quote is all about being selfless.  When we serve others, we feel good about ourselves.  It is interesting that as the New Testament says, 'he that loseth his life...shall find it."  So when we are lost in the needs of another person, (whether stranger, neighbor, friend or family) we find that good part of our soul and we feel renewed, invigorated, and our self-worth deepens.  So go spread some sunshine...and you will store up good things for yourself at the same time.
