I love this message. The idea of visiting our younger self and giving encouragement is powerful. I would venture to say that no childhood is perfect. Some people have overcome amazingly difficult things that were heaped upon them at a time when they should have been protected. The words are powerful in our lives at any age and I can almost hear my much older self coming back to me now to tell me "don't give up. You keep trying. There is hope and happiness ahead. It will be alright in the end...believe in good things to come."
