This song is from the movie Matilda.  It's a very cute story by Roald Dahl about a little girl who takes care of herself and learns to make herself happy.  She is sweet even though her parents are NOT.  She is capable and smart and loves reading more than television.  Eventually, she gets her happy ending, which makes a good story a great story.
