Friday Favorites-Carlsbad Beach

This is part of Carlsbad beach.  We lived not far from here and frequented Carlsbad beaches.  I have many great memories of camping on the bluffs, bonfires with friends, collecting rocks and shells, watching the sun set on the water, walking on the Carlsbad boardwalk, but mostly just watching the waves and hearing their constant rhythm.  When I am weary and trying to calm my busy mind, I think of sitting on the beach with all the sights and sounds and smells that remind me of a beautiful summer beach day.
